  Corporate Certificates at the Registry of Deeds


Order certificates online from the Secretary of State's Corporations Division and pick up the original certificate at the registry of deeds the next day.

Instructions for online orders:

  • The link below takes you to "Search Corporate Database"
  • Enter name of corporation
  • Select correct entry from resulting names
  • Copy that corporation's Federal ID number
  • Click "Request a Certificate" and complete that form
  • In "Special Instructions" box, type SEND TO SALEM
  • Enter payment info from your credit card
Your certificate will be at the registry the next business day
to order certificate online

If you are unable to order online, bring your credit card to the registry's Customer Service office and we will order the certificate for you.
